24/7 Live Stream Of Legally Growing Cannabis Plants

A 24/7 live stream of growing cannabis plants has been set up by Teresa Mahoney – a video reporter from The Oregonian/OregonLive.com for their new series documenting the grow in a journal.

Broadcast live streaming video on Ustream – *live stream now ended* Time lapse video below

Video reporter Teresa confesses that she hasn’t been the best gardener on previous attempts but hopes to share her experiences with other Oregonians wishing to be self sufficient cannabis users. Teresa will have some help and guidance from an experienced grower should any problems arise in her garden, which will also be documented as part of her learning journey. Here’s a few quotations from Teresa on the first and eighth days.

Day 1

“For the next couple of months, assuming my cursed black thumb doesn’t ruin everything, I will document the process of (trying) to grow marijuana from scratch (seeds) and  somewhat-scratch (clones).”

Day 8

“We’re growing marijuana – four plants – enough to max out the legal limit in Oregon. Two seeds and two clones.”

“In our little indoor growing closet (where our live stream is set up), you’ll see a clone (in the big pot) and both newly sprouted seeds (in the small pots). A 24″ grow light hangs above. Our fourth plant is outside.”

As of the 1st of July 2015 it is legal for residents over the age of 21 in the state of Oregon to possess cannabis for recreational use. Oregon’s cannabis possession limits as are as follows:
